The farewell to local Firefighter Dennis Rodeman who was killed last week began Wednesday night when hundreds arrived at the Funeral Home to pay their respects.  Todays funeral service was held at the Breslin Center due to the overwhelming amount of people expected to show up.

Firefighters from all over the United States and Canada showed up for the service.

Dennis Rodeman, who survived a tour in Iraq, lost his life last week when he was hit by a vehicle while collecting money with the 'Fill The Boot' campaign to raise money for Charity.

Dennis leaves behind more friends and colleagues than you can count, and very sadly his loving wife of 2 months who is carrying their first child.

Fireman Dennis Rodeman loved this community and our community loved him back.
