Beers lovers in mid-Michigan will have another place to enjoy several different types of beer.  The Old Nation Brewing Co.'s production facility, located in the back of a former police station, is capable of yielding 10,000 barrels of craft beer annually.

A variety of beers not only will be available in its 3,000 square foot restaurant pub area, but also in stores and taverns throughout the area.

Five core beers will be on the market at any one time, with occasional seasonal rotations.  The grand opening is today at 4 p.m. at 1500 W. Grand River Ave.

It's all been in the works for years, and City Manager Alan Dolley said he was excited to hear that Old Nation is ready to roll.  Here's the latest from the Lansing State Journal.
