According to m.live, parts of Michigan will be getting up to a half foot of snow for Thursday and Thursday night.

The temps in the mid-Michigan area are supposed to drop into the 20's by Friday and the heaviest snowfalls will occur in the U.P. (obviously), the upper half of the lower peninsula and southwest Michigan, coming off of Lake Michigan. Up to six inches is possible in Michigan's northwest lower snowbelt.

Mid-Michigan could get an amount of snow, but not as much as the other portions. But it will get pretty darn cold as the Arctic front moves in and makes it feel like winter.
