Michigan State Football Team in Holiday Bowl December 28

Mark Dantonio has Michigan State in a bowl game for the 10th time in 11 seasons.  The 9-3 Spartans will play Washington State in the Holiday Bowl on Dec. 28 in San Diego.

The Michigan Wolverines are in the Outback Bowl in Tampa on Jan. 1.  Both games are part of the Big Ten's official "top tier" of affiliated bowl games.  And San Diego is a way better destination city.
