Michigan Native Actor Tom Selleck in Hot/Cold Water
Tom Selleck reached a tentative agreement this week with a California water district that had accused the actor of receiving water taken from a fire hydrant and transported across district boundaries. The water was for his avocado farm, which is suffering through the drought in California.
The actor and his wife were sued by the water district that was trying to stop them from using the districts water , plus reimbursement for over 21 thousand dollars that they had used to hire a private investigator, and other costs.
Selleck, formally from Michigan told NBC that he did not commit any crime.
With the drought in California, many people are going to extremes to have water for green lawns and even (apparently) Avocado Farms.
