There are a lot of odd laws on the books, so the House Criminal Justice committee is

working to eliminate things like:  the $750 fine for teasing anyone who refuses to fight a duel or the 90 days in jail or $500 fine for not singing all 4 verses of the National don't start something you can't finish!  WILX channel 10 reports that at least one of those laws has been tested by a kid from Brighton who got fined for "cursing or using vulgar language in front of a woman or children". It cost Colin Anderson $200.  Check out the video here
