Memorial Day Events Planned for Monday

Even though Lansing will not have a Memorial Day parade this year, several other events are planned for Monday.

In Charlotte, American Legion Post No. 42 will host a parade at 11a.m. The procession will start at the Eaton County Courthouse and end there as well. A ceremony will follow on the courthouse lawn at 11:30a.m.

A Memorial Day luncheon will take place at V.F.W. Post 2406, on Lansing Rd. at 2p.m.

In Potterville, the city will offer a bike decorating contest for youth in grades kindergarten through 12th grade on the Potterville schools campus at 9a.m.
The Potterville Memorial Day parade will begin at 10a.m.
