Lowest Gas Prices in the U.S. Found Here in Michigan

In the Lansing region, the average gas price Monday was $1.78 a gallon with the lowest price of $1.55 a gallon at the Admiral gas stations in Charlotte, according to GasBuddy.com.

Michigan has the lowest average gas price in the country.  Two groups that track gas prices, Gas Buddy.com and the American Automobile Association, both put Michigan at the top of their low price gas lists, which they compile daily.

Michigan edged out Oklahoma, which has an average just a few tenths of a cent more, and Ohio, at $1.82 a gallon.  Nationwide, the average price Monday was $2.03.
