Local Restaurant to Help Employees Recover from Flood’s Impact
A business forced to temporarily close because of flood damage has organized an event to help its employees recover.
Green Dot Stables will open a pop-up restaurant from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday in Lansing's Allen Market Place at 1629 E. Kalamazoo Street.
Proceeds will support employees who aren't getting paid because of the closure, said Christine Driscoll, Green Dot's co-owner.
Green Dot will sell sliders, fries and salads, each for $3.00 at the pop-up event. Sliders to be available at the pop-up: cheeseburger, grilled cheese and more. Click here on Lansing State Journal for more information.
