Local College Shutting Down Flint Locations

Baker College has made the decision to shutter its Flint Township locations.  The decision was made, because the school wants to consolidate and move operations to Owosso.

Baker College also has campus's in Auburn Hills, Allen Park and Clinton township.  According to MLive, will be moved into a new campus in the Metro Detroit area.

A rep for the school, says that the reason for the consolidation of the other campus's is to be able to combine resources.  The students at the schools that will be effected by the move will apparently be offered "generous scholarship packages so they can continue their education.

I did not know this, but Baker College has been around since 1911, and began the college in Flint.
