Local Church Unsafe because Exits were Barricaded

A small group of Friendship Baptist Church members spent much of Monday stationed outside Friendship Baptist Church after the city tagged the building as unsafe because exits were barricaded.

The church members accused other members of blocking the doors and taking other steps to keep them out.  And the barricades could keep churchgoers from attending services there.

Notices were posted Sunday at the southside church at 2912 Pleasant Grove Road after fire officials received a complaint about fire code violations.  Here's more from the Lansing State Journal!
