According to the Lansing State Journal, the last remaining RadioShack dealership in the Lansing area is closing its doors at the end of the month.

Clinton electronics has been a mainstay in downtown St. Johns for the last four decades, but owner Jim Sytsma announced plans to close last month.

The business was opened in 1977 by a former owner.  Sytsma began working there just months later as a manager, and then as a supervisor before buying the store in 1981.

He changed the name to Clinton Electronics when he bought it, and has since seen every phase of electronics merchandise come through the business.

From boom boxes and Walkman's to VCR machines and stereo systems, the small store in the 200 block of North Clinton Avenue has sold it all.
