A Quality Dairy store on the city's north side remains temporarily closed because it was damaged late last month by a vehicle.

Quality Dairy's website indicated that it intends to eventually reopen the store at Willow Street and Robertson Avenue, west of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

The store was damaged at about 7:48 p.m. Sept. 23 after a man tried to park his sports utility vehicle near the building's front doors.

The man, 56, more or less had medical issues, while he entered the parking lot and hit the gas pedal instead of the brake.

It was unclear Wednesday when the Quality Dairy store could reopen.  The closest open Quality Dairy store is about a mile away from the area at 700 N. Pine St.  Here's more from the Lansing State Journal.
