Easter weekend is just about here and I'm sure all kids would like to take part in a big Easter Egg Hunt at the State Capitol on Saturday morning in downtown Lansing.

This is an annual event put on every year by the Lansing Jaycees.  Kids will have so much fun looking for Easter Eggs.  Other activities will include face painting, balloon animals, crafts, music, live animals, character visits and raffles.

The Lansing Jaycees Easter Egg Hunt will be from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the State Capitol Lawn, east lawn, 110 N. Capitol Ave., Lansing.  The event is free.  For more information, visit lansingjaycees.org.

Another event taking place on Saturday is Downtown East Lansing's Chili Cook off.  There's always something fun to do Lansing.  Here's more from the Lansing State Journal.
