Lansing Has a New City Logo

According to the Lansing State journal, Lansing has a new look.

Mayor Andy Schor unveiled a logo during his second annual State of the City address at the Riverwalk Theatre.

The new logo includes three bars and the word Lansing.

It also evokes the three smokestacks of the Eckert power plant in REO Town.  The plant's iconic triple stacks, nicknamed Wynken, Blynken and Nod, are visible throughout the city and have even inspired a punk music festival.
