PHOTO GALLERY: 21 Arcade Games Jackson Loved Playing in the 1970’s
What are some of YOUR favorite, classic arcade games?
The 1970's have been dubbed "The Golden Age of Arcade Games" and rightly so...so many of our favorites were created around 40 years ago...and they're STILL loved by many, young and old alike.
I used to hang out playing arcade games til the wee hours back in the 70’s & 80’s, just like many others…playing the games of the day: Pac-Man, Asteroids, Phoenix, Berzerk, Galaxian, Space Invaders, Breakout, Gunfight, Pong, Centipede and many others (SEE THE PHOTO GALLERY ABOVE).
After perusing the above photo gallery, can you think of any other favorites from 1970-1980? Be careful...there were plenty in the 80's that became classic favorites as well!
ALADDIN'S CASTLE at the Westwood Mall was a favorite place to go, along with the bowling alley out by the airport and some of the bars in town.
