A new Dr. Seuss exhibit is coming to Midland at the Dow Gardens.  This exhibit features large bronze sculptures of Seuss beloved characters like the Cat in the Hat, Horton, the Lorax, Grinch and more.

This exhibit runs now through September first.  Right now it is mixed in with beautiful tulips and summer annuals,  The Midland Center  for the Preforming Arts also has a companion show, "The Art of Dr. Seuss: A Retrospective Exhibit".   This will include paintings, drawings and biographical material about the beloved Auther.

Dr. Seuss wrote 44 childrens books and is credited with changing the concept of what a childs book should be.
