More reasons for you to get yourself and family out, more hiking areas are  being worked on to improve one of Michigan’s oldest rails-to-trails projects.

The trail is called the William Field Memorial Hart Montague Trail State Park  located on the west side of the state.    The trail is 22 miles long and it winds through rural and wooded terrain and also through the communities of Hart,Mears,Shelby, New Era, Rothbury and Montague.

Those towns and small and but really worth a visit.  The improvements on the trail began last year and will be completed by this summer.  This would be a great time to get outdoors and see parts of beautiful Michigan that you may have not seen before.
