Heat Warning Until 8 p.m. Sunday for Southwest and South Central Lower Michigan

As you know, Southwest and South Central Lower Michigan is under a heat warning until 8 p.m. Sunday.  There are several things to avoid doing for most of this weekend.

1.  Jogging, bicycling, or other activities, especially during the heat of the day.

2.  Weeding the garden or painting the garage.

3.  Leaving your pet dog in the car while you run into the store for a few items.  That's just to name a few.

The mercury will climb into the mid-90's on Saturday, with heat index readings of 100 or above.  Sunday's temperatures will be slightly cooler but won't feel much like it.  Here's more from the Lansing State Journal.
