Happiest 5k on the Planet in Lansing

The Color Run is back which is part of the Common Ground Music Festival festivities.  It's billed as the Happiest 5k on the Planet and it kicks off at 9a.m. Saturday in Lansing and runs through Adado Riverfront Park.

The Color Run is a paint race that celebrates healthiness, happiness and individuality.  Here's the fun part, runners go from wearing white clothing to being covered from head to toe with beautiful colors.

Now the single largest event series in the United States, the Color Run has tripled its growth since its debut event and hosted more than 170 events in 30-plus countries last year.
