Halloween Weekend Offers Lots Of Scares
Halloween is on Monday so that gives us an entire weekend to enjoy all things spooky and scary. Haunted houses and hay rides are all over Mid Michigan and they have some that are so scary they are for adults only and then there is the mild side of scary for the little ones.
The Lansing State Journal had a great article this week about a short Horror film called "The Third Day" , that was filmed in Lansing. the film is about what happens to a person as they transform into a vampire.
This 21 minute film ended up winning "Best Short Film' earlier this month in Kentucky at the 2016 Scarefest film Festival.
Saturday you can catch the film showing at Eaton Theatre in downtown Charlotte followed by a showing of the horror classic Halloween.
The cast and crew of "The Third Day" will hold a question and answer session after the showing.
Monday will be my final Scary Story during the morning show, and since it is Halloween, I have saved the best for last. A b onus story will also be read around 7:10am and the final story read at 7:35-ish. Bloody? yes, Gore? yes, Clowns? possibly.....
