Great Lakes Folk Festival in Downtown East Lansing

The Great Lakes Folk Festival gets underway today in downtown East Lansing.  People love fiddlers, and fiddlers come from places far away to entertain the public.

There are more fiddlers than ever, almost 20 of them, and many are from Michigan.  Lisa Haley performs tonight at 9:30....9:45p.m. Saturday and 4:30p.m. on Sunday.

The festival runs 6p.m.-10:30p.m. today; noon to 10:30p.m. Saturday; noon to 6p.m. Sunday in downtown East Lansing.

There's a food court near the corner of Albert and M.A.C., plus downtown restaurants.  The Great Lakes Folk Festival is free, but there are donation cans.
