Gizzard Fest Still Going Strong After 15 Years

Gizzard Fest will take place this weekend in downtown Potterville.  It all starts Friday and continues through Sunday June 8.

12,000 to 15,000 people will fill the small city's downtown for a taste of what Gizzard Fest has to offer.

The summer festival gets its oddball name thanks to a specialty that has been on the menu at Joe's Gizzard City for 55 years.

Joe's will fry up an estimated 3,000 pounds of chicken gizzards during the three-day festival.  The Lansing State Journal has more!
