General Motors is moving production of the popular GMC Acadia to Spring Hill, Tennessee, but company and union officials say no jobs will be lost at the Lansing Delta Township Assembly plant, where the vehicle currently is built.

Bill reed, president of UAW Local 602 said "at this time, we don't perceive it as impacting us.  There will be some future announcements coming later."

Officials say the Lansing Delta Township Assembly plant is investing $520 million to manufacture new products.  Here's more from the Lansing State Journal.
