Better keep fillin' that gas tank until the prices go up...four states will see a price increase in gas: Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky.

AND IT'S EXPECTED TO GO UP THIS WEEK...MAYBE TOMORROW.

The price hike is expected to be between 45 and 60 cents per gallon at all stations.

Patrick DeHaan, senior petroleum analyst at GasBuddy, says it has nothing to do with the recent inauguration of our new president.

How long can we expect to see these price hikes? DeHaan says “It’s just a bump in the road...almost within in a day or two of it coming it will start to trickle down…a little bit every day for a couple of weeks. That’s the way it works.”

DaHaan also wants Michigan drivers to know that we may not see gas prices under two dollars for quite a while....and on top of that, prices will go up again this Spring....and again in Summer, possibly as much as 40 cents more than last Summer.

Be on the safe side: GO FILL YOUR TANKS.
