Fun Things to do on Father’s Day

Father's Day is Sunday and the National Retail Federation says the average person will spend $133 treating dad to events, clothes, gift cards, gadgets and other stuff.

Speaking of events, why not take dad to a Lugnuts Baseball game this Father's Day weekend?

Father's Day is a two-fer as the Lansing Lugnuts play the South Bend Cubs on Sunday, June 17, at Cooley Law School stadium, 505 E. Michigan Ave.

The first 1,000 fans receive a free Father's Day Lugnuts themed Blue Jays jersey, and dads can come on the field before the game to play catch with their kids.  Gates open at noon.

It's also Delta Dental Kids day.  In addition to playing catch on the field, kids can run the bases and meet some of their favorite Lugnuts with player autographs after the game.  Here's more from the Lansing State Journal.
