FRIB, we've been hearing that term for years, but today it's real.  Groundbreaking took place on the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams at the corner of Bogue and Shaw on the MSU campus.

Mlive's Jay Scott Smith reports that the state-of-the-art FRIB has been a long time in the making and we still have a long way to go.  Senators Debbie Stabinaw and Carl Levin said it will bring much needed jobs  and it will create thousands of jobs around the state.  That can only be good news!
