A South Lansing family is looking forward to moving into a brand
new house in June! Ashley and Tim dreamed of owning a home that
accommodates the needs for their disabled children as well as offers
stability for the whole family. Both Elliott and Xander have cerebral
palsy and are wheelchair bound. Tim & Ashley currently live in a
home that is not only too small for their family but also has mold
issues as well as not being wheelchair accessible.
The HBA has teamed up with Habitat for Humanity to build the
home. Special thanks to HBA builder members for leading this
project: Aaron Tobias of Century Construction, Ray Evert of Evert
Construction, Brent Forsberg of T.A. Forsberg, Jay Nyboer of
Nyboer Builders & Gary Hengesbach of Westphalia Builders.
We need support from the local community. Enjoy a Texas style BBQ Fundraiser on May 1st. Any donations
to help support this loving family are greatly appreciated. All contributions are tax deductible. Our goal is to
raise $5,000 to help fund the project.
