Here’s yet another cool old slice of Lansing history.....the photo gallery above shows some still shots from a movie theater featurette titled “Your State Police” that was produced in 1937 by the Michigan State Police in East Lansing...at the beginning of World War II.

Can you recognize any of these East Lansing/Lansing buildings and neighborhoods from EIGHTY years ago? maybe...maybe not...but they sure are cool to see!

You'll see the styles, the old police uniforms, automobiles. tommyguns, the training these guys went through...it's a must-see for any Lansing-area history buff.
