In 1937, the  Michigan State Police hooked up with the Ford Motor Company for this film, “Your State Police” – shot at the East Lansing headquarters and other locations in the area. .

See actual news footage of the police in action along with staged scenes from unprofessional actors…the narrator is a typical 1930’s announcer-y hoot!

It might be tough, but try to identify some of the places – inside and outside – that you’ll see. This is more interesting Lansing history…!
