El Azteco West Building an Outdoor Patio and Bar

El Azteco West is adding a patio and bar on the east side of the West Saginaw Street building.

The patio will be open, but partially covered.  It will seat about 125 people and have a full bar and a couple TVs.

The owner, Bobbi London, plans to open the patio this year, depending on how the weather cooperates.  She has a cabaret license and is thinking of doing live music on the patio.

London has been with El Azteco for about 34 years.  She was hired in 1983 as a cook, busser and hostess.  After being promoted, she started business classes at Lansing Community College.  Here's more from the Lansing State Journal.
