The Lansing Metropolitan Statistical Area has been ranked as best in the country for its quality of education and its low gap to education levels between men and women and black and white rankings.

Wallet Hub compiled the rankings in its 2015 report of the Most and Least Educated Cities, which analyzed data from the U.S. Census Bureau, U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics,GreatSchools.org and U.S. News & World report.
