Governor Snyder signed a bill this week that raises the speed that you can drive in our state.

Some freeways will now see maximum speeds of 75 miles an hour, some other roads will see maximum speeds increase to 65 miles an hour.

Right now it doesn't look like Auto Insurance prices will go up (yet).  The increase in speed itself doesn't effect premiums at all, however, insurance companies set there rates based on loss they have experienced so if high speeds cause more accidents, then auto premiums could very likely increase.
