Dress Your Pet Up and Take Them Out for Halloween

When I was a kid, dressing up your pet or pets for Halloween was unheard of.  Not anymore!  The only thing more ridiculous then dressing a dog, cat, bird or some other pet in a Halloween costume is that Americans spend $350 million doing it every year, according to the National Retail Federation.

Some of the big sellers this year is the Minion Pet Costume from Despicable Me 2 along with such favorites like Captain America, Darth Vader and Wonder Woman.

Here's the NRF's top five pet costumes for 2014:

4.  Bumble Bee

5.  Cat

Others include Superman, Batman Character, Witch, Ghost, and Star Wars Character.
