The downtown branch of the Lansing Library is now open and showing off a new look.

The Library had been closed since the end of December for much needed renovations and today the  Library is open to the public.

There is a new front desk and gleaming floors to greet you when you walk in, also more computers have been added, and outlets added to plug in devices.  The amazing new look for the Lansing Library cost under  7 hundred thousand dollars.  Many areas were consolidated, and the children's section is bright fresh and very user friendly for the young library visitors.

Inside the new space is quiet study rooms, and the shelves for books have been cut down so the space is more open and you can see around the area more.
