Dewitt Panthers will play in Semifinals

Let's talk High School Baseball. Dewitt battled back from a one-run deficit in the final inning and had five runs in extra innings to finally put away a 12-7 win. The top of the batting order showed the way.

The Dewitt Panthers will move on to play Richmond in a state semifinal at 9a.m. Friday at MSU. Dewitt coach Alan Shankel said and I quote... "the team that doesn't quit comes back to win it!"

There was too much Dewitt senior leadership on the roster to let the Panthers fall to East Grand Rapids in a Division 2 quarterfinal. Now it's on to the state semifinal on Friday. Go Panthers!
