Detroit Tigers are in First Place in the A.L. Central

Everybody loves a great baseball game, especially when the Detroit Tigers win a game. No exception last night when the Tigers beat Kansas City 16 to 4!

Everybody in Detroit’s lineup had at least one hit and scored one run to win the opener of their four game series Thursday night.

Detroit wound up with 19 hits in the game, getting at least one hit and one run from all 11 players who stepped to the plate.

Where they stand: The Tigers are 51-37 and in first place in the A.L. Central, 5 and a half games in front of the Royals.
