Michigan lawmakers will be busy today as they attempt to strike a major funding deal to fix Michigan's deteriorating roads.

A complicated stand-off between the Senate and House has contributed to inaction that has stretched over more than two weeks on a proposed $1.5 billion road funding plan.

Gov. Rick Snyder back in Lansing today where some lawmakers are calling on him to take the lead in getting a deal firmed up.  Here's more from the Lansing State Journal.
