Cristo Rey celebrates  their heritage with food, fun, and dance this weekend at Cristo Rey Church on Miller Road in Lansing.

There's great homemade food and a lot of entertainment according to the Rev. Fred Thelen, pastor of Cristo Rey Catholic Church.

It's a celebration of their culture and faith and opening doors to the world.  The annual event draws 5,000 to 8,000 people over three days.  It's a fundraiser for the church, where bulletin items are published side by side in Spanish and English.

The Cristo Rey Fiesta takes place 4 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday; 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday at Cristo Rey Church, 201 W. Miller Road.
