Delta township couple Deb and Larry Nakfoor said they have no choice but to sue the township, county, a local church and two contractors.

According to the Lansing State Journal, years of severe flooding in their neighborhood cost them thousands of dollars in property damage and made it impossible to resell their home.

The couple bought their home in the Countryside Estates subdivision off East St. Joe Highway 27 years ago.  They say flooding plagued the neighborhood then.

Through many ups and downs over the years, the couple sued last fall.  They have already spent $75,000 in legal costs.  They say it was unavoidable.  Click here on the Lansing State Journal for the entire story.
