Can you imagine paying a $1 per gallon for unleaded regular gasoline here in Michigan?  Drivers in the Midwest are paying less at the gas pump than they have in a dozen years.

In Michigan, the low is $1.49 and, according to GasBuddy.com, some Midwest gas stations could see prices drop to as low as 99 cents a gallon.

The last time Michigan's average per gallon price was under a $1 was at least 16 years ago.  According to GasBuddy, Michigan ranks fifth lowest in the Midwest when it comes to low prices since 2004.

Ahead of the Great Lakes State are Oklahoma ($1.37), Indiana ($1.45), Kansas ($1.46), and Ohio ($1.47).  Here's more from the Lansing State Journal.
