Remember Silver Bells in the City last Friday when torrential rain pretty much canceled just about everything that we were all looking forward to seeing that night?  We missed the lighting of the annual Christmas Tree, Fireworks and so much more.

At least we were able to see an hour and ten minutes of the Electric Light Parade which was once again, fabulous, until the major downpour stopped us from witnessing the Lighting of the State Capitol Christmas Tree.

Here's great news, the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony at the state Capitol Building has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. tonight.

Tonight's ceremony will include caroling led by musician Taylor Taylor and comments from Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero and several others.  Here's more from the Lansing State Journal.
