Chophouse Restaurant Opening Soon in Downtown Lansing

Opening soon in downtown Lansing, Bowdie's Chophouse.  Bowdie's is a steakhouse which started in Saugatuck and will open a second location in Lansing in the East Michigan Avenue building that once housed the Knight Cap.  They plan to open Nov. 1.

The new steakhouse will open seven days a week, for dinner only.  The restaurant will seat 58.  Next year they will open an outdoor patio in the front, with seating on both sides of the door and will seat another 25.

According to the Lansing State Journal, there's an extensive cocktail list created by their mixologist who came from Grand Rapids a couple years ago.  He takes some of the traditional cocktails and puts his own twist on them.
