I was reading an article in the Lansing State Journal with a slow cooker recipe for Meyer Lemon Chicken.  The ingredients list contained things like:  2 Large Leeks, 8 oz Cremini Mushrooms and 2 medium Fennel Bulbs, I do realize that these are mostly fresh items, but do you have those kinds of things in your pantry or fridge?  I don't and I keep, what I thought, was pretty good variety of items.  Should everyone have a Fennel Buld or 2 in their back pocket?
