Even though actor Burt Reynolds passed away in early September, one of his famous roles will be back in theaters.

The AMC movie chain is bringing back Smokey and the bandit, yup Bandit will be eastbound and down, loaded up and truckin'.

This will give a new generation a chance to see a great movie and one of Reynolds best.  The theater chain decided to do this to honor one of the generations beloved actors and also bring back a movie that is so fun to watch.

For a limited time AMC theaters will be showing 'Smokey and the Bandit' starting today and running through September 20th, the film will be shown at 240 locations and will only cost five bucks to get in.

So you can see a fun film again, and even introduce your kids to this funny flick.
