‘Blurred Lines’ Will Cost a Lot of Money
A jury decided on Tuesday that Pharrell Williams and Robin Thicke did rip of Marvin Gaye's 1977 song 'Got To Give it Up,' when they were writing the song 'Blurred Lines.'
The Los Angeles jury listened to both songs and decided they were close enough to side with Marvin Gaye's family, that the song was a rip off.
Robin Thicke and Pharrell are to pay 7.2 million dollars to the family of the late Marvin Gaye.
Gaye's daughter sobbed after the verdict saying she was so happy she could do this for her late father.
