Benefit Concert to Raise Money for Portland Disaster Relief Fund

The tornado that touched down in Portland last month caused an estimated $3.2 million in damages.  The Portland Strong Benefit Concert scheduled for Sunday, August 9 will help pay for it.

The concert will be held on the Portland High School football field.  Former American Idol contestant Shelby Ann Marie organized it.  She's from Portland and will headline the show.

Other acts include Lansing based Bear Creek Brothers, Three Men and a Tenor, Max Boyle, Jamie Miller and Patrick Dawdy.

Tickets are $15 general admission to the track and $10 for general admission to the grandstand.  All proceeds will go to the Portland Disaster Relief Fund.
