According to WILX-TV 10, the Michigan activity pass will be available this year to Michigan residents with library cards beginning May 24.  All residents have to do is either log into their library account on line and print out the pass.

The Michigan activity pass allows free access to Michigan's 102 state parks and 138 state forest campgrounds, along with links to get passes to Michigan's four national parks.

The activity pass also offers free or discounted admission to 170 historical and cultural destinations in Michigan.

The last day for most schools is June 10, so if you're trying to think of fun things for the kids to do this summer, a beautiful Michigan State park sounds like great family fun.
