Oktoberfest is right around the corner, which means that there will be plenty of opportunities to drink yummy beer and eat delicious German food.     Oktoberfest Dinner & Brew Cruise on The Michigan Princess

    The Michigan Princess is taking you on an Oktoberfest Brew Cruise! The cruise has your chance to sample from "over 70 beers and ciders" as well as enjoy a complete German-themed dinner, including beer braised bratwurst stewed with sauerkraut, and more! The cruise is Friday, September 14th from 6 - 11 pm. And, there are two options of tickets you can buy: just drinks or drinks & food. Click here for more info.

    Zoobie's Oktoberfest

    Zoobie's Old Town Tavern is hosting an Oktoberfest event with no cover! You'll be able to enjoy live music, German themed menu special, and Oktoberfest beers from Short's Brewing Company. Plus, for every featured beer purchased, Zoobie's and Short's will each donate $1 to the Capital Area Humane Society! Zoobie's Oktoberfest is Saturday, September 15th from 3 to 11 pm. More details here.

    Lansing Brewing Company: Lansing Brewtoberfest

    Lansing Brewing Company is hosting its 3rd annual Brewtoberfest this year. Saturday, September 22nd from 5 to 11:30 pm, you can hang out on the patio and enjoy a variety of German foods, live music, and plenty of "drink specials including featured German style beers: Oktoberfest, Peninsula Pilsner, a new Hefeweizen, Bug Juice Berliner Weisse and more!"     Oktoberfest German Dinner at HopCat

    If you're brave enough to venture to East Lansing while the students are here, then save room in your stomach on Tuesday, September 25th for Oktoberfest Dinner at HopCat. The dinner is four courses (including dessert), and each course features a different German beer pairing. Tickets are $30 and dinner get started at 6:30 that night with a welcoming beer!
