The 23rd annual Lansing Jazz Fest returns to Old Town this weekend.  Each year, the free two day festival brings thousands of jazz lovers to north Lansing.

Lansing Jazz Fest brings people from all over the state, even from around the Midwest.  The jazz festival runs from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, Aug 4 and from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5.

All the fun happens at the intersection of Turner Street and E. Grand River Avenue.  Performances take place on the two main stages along the 1200 block of Turner Street.  The Lansing State Journal has more.
